The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth Selling For Inflated Prices on the Second-Hand Market

The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth was just released on March 17 for the Switch with a special first-run edition. This version comes with a Legend of Zelda-style gold manual alongside some stickers and retails for $39.99. Amazon pre-order users could get it for $31.99 as can Gamers Club Unlocked members via Best Buy. On the second-hand market on places like ebay, copies are already going for upwards of $60 used – which for a game released a mere two days ago, is ridiculous. To avoid paying that kind of crazy price, just check local stores to see if they have any before buying it second-hand. It’s a bit odd that the Switch gets the first physical version of the game, but it’s a neat bit of history and the game’s use of overhead Zelda tropes makes the gold and red manual a fitting nod to the past.
