The April 12 Nintendo Direct featured a ton of Switch-related news – with a wide variety of new games being announced. Sine Mora EX was a bit of a surprise due to the game’s language, but it’s a welcome addition to the console’s lineup. This side-scrolling shooter blends a little bit of things that make games like R-Type great with a fairly solid plot, and outstanding graphics.
This version will revamp the graphics and be released for other major systems – but the Switch version will be the only one you’ll be able to take on the go outside of the Vita. With higher-fidelity assets to work with, it should look outstanding and offer up enough shooting challenges for veterans of the side-scrolling shooter to feel at home. There was no word on a price or release date – but with it being a re-release/remake, hopefully it’s in the $20 range.
